When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Carlson strives to spend extra time with his patients to understand their goals by developing a personalized treatment plan. He tends to be more conservative with his surgical treatment and tends to give conservative treatment trials before moving to more invasive surgical treatments. Carlson loves orthopedics because it allows him to help patients with debilitating injuries return to action. He loves meeting people and enjoys understanding every patientвЂ™s unique situation and helping them recover.
